Flamengo at the Maracanã, as a visitor

Tickets go to members first and are tied to your face. That is why visitors usually book a guided match visit for a Flamengo home game.

Flamengo plays its home games at the Maracanã. The club sells through its own ticket platform, gives its paying members the first turn and lets the public in afterwards. Every ticket is linked to a face registration, and foreigners register with their passport.

Match visits that cover Flamengo home games

Only the ABSOLUT Sport offer is limited to Flamengo. The others also run for other clubs, so the club you see depends on the date you book. Sorted by number of reviews.

About this offer

How Flamengo sells a home game

The club opened a new ticket platform in March 2025. Since then the face registration runs on a separate website, biometria.flamengo.com.br, and can be done at any time before buying; whoever has registered once keeps the registration for later games. New buyers create a login on the platform, while members sign in with their membership account.

The registration itself follows six short steps: open the site, accept the terms, fill in your details, let the site capture your face, upload your document front and back, done. Brazilians upload an ID card or driving licence with CPF; foreigners upload a passport.

Members first, everyone else after

For games in high demand, Flamengo releases tickets to its supporter members first, in order of membership level, and only then to the general public (Lance, October 2024). A visitor without membership therefore buys last. The agencies on this page get their tickets in advance and buy them in your name, which is the main reason they exist.

Where you sit at a Flamengo game

Flamengo sells the Maracanã by sector: Norte, Sul, Leste Superior, Leste Inferior, Oeste Inferior and Maracanã Mais, a premium area with buffet (sector names as listed by Lance and in the 2026 match information). Tickets are sold by sector, not by seat number. Match packages name the sector on their product pages, if at all; one ABSOLUT Sport reviewer describes a dedicated section on the long side close to the corner.

On a day without a game

The Flamengo museum is not at the stadium. It sits at the club’s headquarters in Gávea, in the south of the city, while the Maracanã is in the north zone. The museum visit works on almost any day of a stay; the Maracanã stadium tour, by contrast, closes hours before kick-off whenever there is a match.

Three nights at a Flamengo game

The 2★ review of the ABSOLUT Sport offer enjoyed the match but could not talk to the guide, although the listing offered English. If the language of the guide matters to you, ask the agency before the day.

“Really enjoyed our night out at the Maracanã watching Flamengo. The seats are excellent and very close to the action in a dedicated section on the longside close to the corner. …”

“Ricardo was such a nice and friendly guide. He told us about Brazilian football, his childhood clubs, Fluminese and Flamengo. He made sure the whole group could stick together and was patient and communicative the whole time. …”
Cecilia · United States · Oct 2026 Match guide and ticket · TSN Experiences
“The game itself was incredibly fun, a highlight of the trip! Regarding the experience with the guide, we were disappointed. We booked this because it advertised English as an offered language and unfortunately we were not able to communicate with our guide. …”

Questions before you book

Is this site connected to Flamengo?

No. Rio Football Tickets is an independent comparison site with no connection to Flamengo, any other club, the CBF or the Maracanã. The club name only describes the matches on offer.

Do I need to be a Flamengo member to get a ticket?

No, but members buy first and for popular games they can take most of the tickets before the public sale. The agencies on this page buy the ticket in your name.

Which ID does Flamengo accept from foreigners?

A passport. It is uploaded front and back during the face registration on biometria.flamengo.com.br, and you carry the same passport to the stadium.

Can I choose my seat?

You choose a sector, not a numbered seat. With a package, the agency decides the sector; read the product page if a particular area matters to you.
