Face registration on Ingresse

Every sector of the Nilton Santos is entered by face recognition only. Botafogo sells its tickets through the Ingresse platform; the address botafogo.com.br/ingresso leads there (checked October 2026). Everyone needs an Ingresse account and a face registration, which according to the club takes under two minutes:

  1. Open the Botafogo face registration on Ingresse and choose “Cadastrar agora”.
  2. Log in or create an Ingresse account.
  3. Follow the face capture with an official photo ID at hand; the club lists the Brazilian ID card, driving licence or a passport.
  4. Wait for the message “Rosto já cadastrado”, face already registered. Only then can the ticket be bought.

Children under 12 do not register themselves; they are added as dependants in the account of a parent or guardian.

Who buys first

Members of the four supporter plans get their turn first, one plan after another, then the general public online, and finally the ticket offices. In-person sales ran at the west ticket office of the stadium and at General Severiano.

Getting to Engenho de Dentro

Engenho de Dentro is in Rio’s north zone, a long way from Copacabana and Ipanema. The Home Fans offer gets there by van, and the Gray Line bus visit covers three Rio stadiums. If you drive, the October 2025 match information reserved the Norte 1 car park on Rua das Oficinas for home supporters and closed it an hour after the final whistle.

Reviews from the multi-club match visits

The Home Fans offer has no English reviews yet, so these come from the two operators that also cover Botafogo. One 1★ review of the TSN Experiences guide describes a long wait for a group of thirty; ask about the group size before you book if that matters.

“It was insane! Special mention to our guide, Raphael, he not only made sure we had a great time but also looked out for me as the only solo traveler. …”
Sharmin · Canada · Apr 2026 Match ticket and bus transfer · Gray Line Brazil
“… Ricardo was an amazing tour guide. His communication from the outset was 10/10 and he kept the group together and safe. …”
Louis · United Kingdom · Oct 2026 Match guide and ticket · TSN Experiences
“Please avoid this guided tour. My friend and I followed all the instructions and arrived on time—actually even earlier. We communicated with the tour guide, Ricardo, who acknowledged seeing us, but then told us we were waiting for a group of 30 people. …”
